Kimono Krazy!

Yes it is a lame title but you've seen past it to continue reading! I hope...
Also ive still not found a proper way to start this but hi, I hope you enjoy my blog special :) I've still not found the confidence to get someone to take photos of me wearing an outfit so for now it remains on a hanger on my door with written styling tips.

This kimono is currently in h&m at £14.99. Quite reasonable for a kimono as a lot retail at £25 approximately. This kimono is very easy to work with a monochrome wardobe. Pair with other pastel accessories to nail both the monochrome and the pastel trend.

The bow at the back also makes the kimono slightly more tailored and gives a lovely girly finish.

This is a close up of my 'busiest' kimono purchased from primark last autumn this kimono is also pwrfect for the summer if teamed with a white camisole, white vans/converse and a pair of denim shorts.

A yellow, yes yellow kinono can work. Despite being blonde I love to wear this yellow kimono as its slightly darker also the white and blue tones work well with the rest of my wardrobe. This kimono was purchased from river island and is super soft and I would recommend highly, wear with mid wash jeans, a lace white top, brown brouges and a staple brown bag, for a semi vintage look.

A sparkling sensation from topshop. Purchased in the sale works well with a black cami, midwash shorts/jeans and black heeled boots. Fancy a splash of colur? Add a silver, coral or green statement necklace.

This stunning mint kimono is currently in new look for £34.99.
To me it is very 1920s esc.the embellishment allows little jewellery to be worn as the kimono does all the talking.

I would pair this with white and denim or other pastles, however as this is such a bold piece a caution should be issued when working with pastels.

This is my only fringed kimono and I purchased this on ebay for about £6, I look forward to pairing this with a white crop top, highwaisted shorts and either trainers or cadged sandals for a festival look, also ideal for a holiday.

This kimono is very thin and was purchased from primark last year, as its s thin it works perfectly as a beach cover up.

Topshop treat!

Calling all handbag addicts! A damn good hand bag has blessed my wardrobe!

A few months ago I spotted this beauty in Look magazine. Needed it. Wanted it. Couldn't afford it :(

So 3 weeks a go after working a few more days I popped to topshop and 'urmmed and ahhhed' about this handbag as it was £36 and  I didn't have an outfit in mind as to what could possibly go with such a perfect monstrosity.

Two weeks ago I went back to return something and ended up spending an extra £50... (my purse was not happy however I got 2 dresses, a kimono and this handbag. Thank the lord for studen discount!) But the bag was down to £28. I had a shoppers yolo moment and purchased it. Safe to say I have not regretted it!

For me this bag is perf as it has both pink and red, long story short I have two very special pieces of jewelery one pink (my lola and grace braclet) and the other a silver pandora ring with a red stone brought by my boyfriend, this handbag ties all my favourite jewelery together and with the silver finishings its even better.

The bag has both contrasting and complimentary colours and patterns.
The bag is also massive. So if you are british ( like mee) you'll appreciate how difficult it is so dress for a british summer with this bag being so large it is super easy to throw a jacket in this bag. It also helps that the straps are so soft making it easier to carry.
I know this is a blooming long post for a handbag but, its a nice handbag!

Pastel perfection.

Again I still have no idea how to phrase this so hi, ill just get straight into it!

To avoid either pastel or floral this summer is simply a crime punishable... this outfit incorporates a staple denim jacket, pastel, floral and chunky platfroms, of which  you can certainly never go wrong!

This has become a go to summer outfit for me (I've only worn it once but shhh!) I proved to myself how versatile this outfit can be, I wore it with flat brogues for school and added these heels for a casual meal out. Speaking of heels...

Although these new look beauties are no louboutins they are certainly a comfortable choice, they have a good size platform and a chunky heel making them super easy to walk in. I purchased these last week for £19.99 (I also get student discount but I didnt include that) and they are most certainly worth it, a tan colour is really easy to work with especially with a vintage Radley bag in a similar shade.

Im hardly a vintage expert but I woukd suggest a denim jacket. Aaaggess ago I had a primark one and it simply wasnt the same as the levi one I purchased last year.

The skirt of this outfit is also newlook I think it was between £12.99-£14.99 I think. I was drawn to this skirt like a moth to lantern!
This skirt is a light cotton material andis soo lovely for the summer.

Finally I topped off the outfit with my staple braclet from lola and grace. Lola and grace may look  too tacky from the window but if you're a magpie like myself take a look because you will find something!
Also side note: lola and grace  is owns by swarvoski and uses swarvoski crystals but is much more affordable.
